In 1999 our family of three left South Africa for a fresh start in New Zealand. Swopping the rat race of Johannesburg city for a laid back Bay of Plenty lifestyle. “Sweet as“, as the locals would say. We followed my husband’s work, in the engineering field, around for a while before happily settling in Rotorua in 2002. Our family unit grew to five over the next four years. Challenging and developing my skills at multitasking to the full. Our older two children happily attend Kaharoa School loving the warm and friendly environment of their country School. As pre- school age has approached for our youngest, I have switched my full time home manager’s hat for a Real Estate Sales and Marketing Consultant’s hat. Our free time is spent exploring the ever accessible and pristine wonders of New Zealand. We have tried and thoroughly enjoyed our hand at sailing, kayaking, skiing and tramping. Wow! I bring to the table nine years of international business experience in the fashion industry. Daryl is married to his high school sweetheart of 21 years - Michelle. Together they have three children - 4 year old twins, Kobe and Tia and 2 year old Chase. Yes, his family are truly his inspiration.

Paul was born in Rotorua and has lived here most of his life and has travelled extensively around the world. After 4 years in the tourist industry and a family on the way Paul through a change of direction was needed to spend more time with his family. Ian Fowler

Ian is a local boy that started off his working career in the automotive industry, advancing over time to opening and operating Fowler Automotive for 17 years with his wife Heather until they sold their business in August 2005. After selling the workshop they had a holiday in Australia and on their return they moved to Wellington where Heather originated from.  Ian’s services to the motor industry were not finished, the corporate world was calling.  He was employed by the Motor Trade Association as their Business Development Manager servicing the members in Wellington South Wairarapa and Horowhenua areas.  During this time Ian realised he had a passion for selling and meeting people from all walks of life and decided to re-qualify and become a Real Estate Consultant.  On completion they relocated to the coastal climate of Katikati to sell residential and lifestyle properties. In April 2008 Ian graduated from the Harcourts training academy, and then in May Heather and Ian moved back to Rotorua with Ian transferring within the Harcourt’s group.  Like operating a workshop, Real estate is also a business of people and property requirements. Sarah Harcourt

Sarah Harcourt has an historical family link with real estate that reaches back to 1888, when her great-grandfather, John Bateman Harcourt founded the company that bears her name.

So it comes as no surprise to anyone, that real estate is close to her heart. She is proud of her roots and knows that her surname is synonymous with quality, professionalism and integrity in real estate not only in Rotorua, but also New Zealand, and now across many parts of the world.

 Wellington born and bred, Sarah is the mother of two sons. She launched her business and sales career in 1991 working in the IT field in another family company. Ten years later in 2001 she joined the real estate industry as a residential sales consultant and hit the ground running notching up records in her branch office in her first year culminating in being awarded Rookie of the Year.

 In 2006 Sarah moved to Rotorua and continues her love affair with property sales and mountain-biking! The Redwoods is a popular hang-out for her, both on her bike and occasionally off it!

Alan Hope

Alan Hope spent many years working in sales and marketing with large multi-national companies, meeting and negotiating with customers from many nationalities, particularly Australasian, Asian and Middle East. While he thrived on the busy lifestyle, he always had in mind that he wanted to own and operate his own business. Five years ago, the opportunity arose to purchase a motel business, so Alan and Prue moved to Rotorua.

Now after meeting, accommodating, advising and helping guests find the accommodation best suited to their needs and get the most from their stay in Rotorua, will stand him in good stead to help buyers and sellers find their ideal home. 

Alan enters real estate marketing at a time when the new Real Estate Institute Act 2008 comes into force. This brings in new legal requirements for real estate agents as well as giving better protection for buyers and sellers. Alan says, “this is an exciting time as new procedures and processes are introduced that will really benefit my clients and help them get the best from their chosen sales and marketing consultant.”

Carole Limbrick-Hill

Country girl at heart with interludes in Town and City. I was born and bred on the Firth of Thames and enjoyed the tranquil life of a country kid with creeks and beach as my own private playground. My intermediate and secondary school years were spent in Rotorua and that move was the start of the gradual widening circle of experience and geographic location. In the late 70’s I set out to explore and found myself in London, followed by spells in Scotland, Africa and Europe. This was also followed by a stint in Auckland in the 80’s where my interest in Real Estate began. I went back to the UK in 1993 and there I managed a large dental practice in the south of England and this was where I met my husband, Chris. Chris and I returned to New Zealand in 2001 and purchased the Kaharoa Boarding Kennels, which Chris continues to manage allowing me to fulfil my ambition to sell Real Estate. An ambition that started in Auckland but I was not able to realise until now. Helping people find their ‘ideal’ home and the hopes and aspirations that come along with that. I want the journey through buying and selling property to be exciting and fun. And I would really like to make that journey with you!

After working for Westpac Banking Corporation in Auckland,  Donna launched her Real Estate career in 1984 and has over  20 years experience in the industry.

Donna initially worked for Barfoot and Thompson, St Heliers, Auckland before she moved to Rotorua where she completed her Real Estate examinations to become an Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (AREINZ).  She has been actively helping people with their property needs in Rotorua for over 20 years.

Born and bred in Liverpool and without the Paul McCartney accent. I spent my early adult life in Auckland working in the banking industry. In the early 1980's, I embarked on my "Kiwi OE" which started with nine months travelling through most of Asia and Europe. I spent four years in London working at famous places such as Buckingham Palace, Royal Albert Hall and the Wimbeldon Tennis Championships. Between 1984 and 1994 I retained my Finance Idustry interest by working abroad and in New Zealand at a Mortgage Office and Insurance Company Investment Office. In 1994 I decided to sell houses rather than approve mortgages for clients to purchase them, and from that date I have not looked back.
